Program Introduction:
The MSc in Disaster Risk Engineering and Management (DREM) is a multidisciplinary, research-oriented program that equips students with advanced knowledge and skills to address complex disaster and climate risks through engineering, science, technology, and management. The program integrates risk assessment, mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience building using modern analytical tools and emerging innovations. - Applicants must have completed either (i) a four-year bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil and Rural Engineering, or an equivalent degree/program, or (ii) a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Science and Management, Climate Science, Natural Resources Management, Agriculture, Forestry, Geology, or an equivalent degree/program, from a recognized institution.
- A minimum CGPA of 2.0 at the bachelor’s level from Pokhara University, or a minimum of second division or equivalent grade at the bachelor’s level from another recognized university/institution.
