Program Introduction:
The Master of Computer Engineering (MCE) is a two-year, four-semester graduate program comprising 60 credit hours, designed to develop advanced knowledge and professional skills in computer engineering and emerging computing technologies. The program covers core areas such as Advanced Computer Architecture, Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Database Engineering, Embedded Systems, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and IT Governance. It also emphasizes research through Research Techniques, Research Seminar, and a 12-credit thesis. Elective courses provide opportunities for specialization in emerging areas. The program prepares graduates for advanced professional careers, research and development, academia, and further doctoral studies in computer engineering and related disciplines.

- Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent degree/program from a recognized university/institution.
- A minimum CGPA of 2.0 at the bachelor’s level from Pokhara University, or a minimum of second division or equivalent grade at the bachelor’s level from another recognized university/institution.
Graduates of the Master of Computer Engineering program can pursue diverse and advanced careers in software engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing and DevOps, data engineering, database systems, embedded systems and IoT, IT governance and consulting, technology management, research and development, and academia. They can work in software and technology companies, financial institutions, telecommunications organizations, government agencies, research institutions, universities, startups, and international organizations. The program also provides a strong foundation for entrepreneurship, professional consulting, remote employment, and further doctoral studies in computer engineering and related disciplines.
